This is a personal project that lives on in other forms. The goal was to successfully develop an environment in with various 3d applications from scratch. Anchor Point Alpha grew to have a story, characters, creatures, and machines. The video above is a real time, in game fly through of the project. There are plenty of hidden areas that are not shown in this video, namely the fully furnished insides of the buildings. Simple things like particle effects and volumetric clouds are also seldom noticed parts of this project that are also built completely from scratch and imperative in bringing life and movement to the environment.
